Innovations Conference 2010- Sharing Information, Part 2

In this continuing series, I'd like to discuss the presentation by Pima County Community College (PCC), Quick and Easy Learning Outcomes Assessment Via Survey Monkey. Chuck Becker, Library Director at PCC discussed the need for a quick and easy assessment tool for Information Literacy Competencies. PCC has six campuses in Tucson with a total enrollment of 71,000 students.

Mr. Becker then illustrated the school's usage by showing us the vast number of reports that he and others could generate from the data. It was very enlightening. I have personally used Survey Monkey and think it's a great tool. Although there is a free version, many schools purchase a subscription for a more robust service.
